The other week we set up a group page called ‘The Scuba Think Tank’ welcoming individuals with a genuine interests in helping the diving community survive and thrive beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
The group’s core aim is to be a participatory ideas forum for the diving community/industry that encourages positive and helpful interaction between its members in the hope that we together can formulate ideas and arrive at effective solutions to the many challenges we face as a community right now.
So far, we have had many interesting and illuminating discussions, touching upon issues such as social distancing on dive charters and in dive shops, the use of face masks and contactless payments and even explored key aspects which need addressing to allow us to safely return to our favourite recreational activity.
Members have also contributed with helpful articles from a broad spectrum of scuba diving organisations.
So if you are a recreational diver or dive professional who cares about the future of the diving community and industry, put your thinking cap on and get involved!
